The 2.2 million tons/year methanol synthesis unit of the 600,000 tons/year coal-to-olefins project of Ningxia Baofeng Energy Group successfully produced qualified methanol on May 29. The metal seated wear-resistant C-ball valve independently developed by Afa Flow Control Co., Ltd. with independent intellectual property rights has been successfully applied to the black water, gray water, chilled water, synthesis gas and other pipelines of the coal gasification unit.
Gasification synthesis gas has the characteristics of high temperature, high pressure, flammability, explosion and toxicity. If a large amount of high-pressure synthesis gas leaks out due to poor valve sealing, it may not only cause serious consequences such as fire, explosion and poisoning, but also affect the production of the entire coal chemical industry and the surrounding environment and cause greater economic losses due to leakage waste. Therefore, it is particularly important to ensure the safety and reliability of the valve at this position.
The successful application of the wear-resistant C-ball valve further established the advantages of the wear-resistant C-ball valve in successfully replacing the metal seated ball valve and orbit ball valve on the synthesis gas main pipeline and effectively solved the difficulties in switching caused by the use of metal seated ball valves and orbit ball valves, such as poor sealing, large leakage and short service life. It will bring light, fast, efficient and reliable guarantees to the switching of the coal gasification synthesis gas pipeline.
